The ‘Sopranos’ prequel “The Many Saints of Newark” has fattened up its cast with two appealing names in Jon Bernthal and Vera Farmiga.
No details on who Bernthal (“Marvel’s The Punisher”) and Farmiga (“The Conjuring”) will play in the period piece, set in ‘60s Newark, says THR, who had the scoop.
The New Line cinema feature, chronicling the adventures of Dickey Moltisanti (Alessandra Nivola), a mentor to a very young Tony Soprano, has been penned by series creator David Chase and will be directed by Alan Taylor.
