The oft-rumoured “Space Jam 2”, which sports giant LeBron James will produce and headline, is not only inching forward… it has a release date!
Warner Bros announced today that the sequel to the hit will land July 16, 2021.
While plot details haven’t been revealed yet, we can only assume it involves a human basketball player teaming with a horde of animated characters – including old fave Bugs Bunny – to show some pixelated space thugs how to play ball. Michael Jordan starred in the original.
“Black Panther” director Ryan Coogler is producing, with Terence Nance directing.
