Though he had previously mentioned he was working on a new “Rocky” sequel, a feature film, Sylvester Stallone took to Instagram this week to announce he’s also/instead working on a TV series chronicling the younger years of The Italian Stallion.
Sly, who recently reprised Rocky Balboa for the two “Creed” films, tells followers that the new series- which he envisions airing on a streaming network – said he’s writing 10 episodes, which will likely make up a first season, and they’ll concentrate on the younger years of the characters. While Rocky didn’t meet Adrian or Paulie until the original feature film, they too will apparently be in the film.
