Director J.J Abrams announced today via a Tweet that official photography has wrapped on “Star Wars : Episode IX”.
The new film, the title of which still hasn’t been released, is said to be the final film in the Skywalker saga.
In other “Star Wars” news, Lucasfilm announced today that merchandise for the film, Disney+ series “The Mandalorian” and the EA/Respawn video game “Star Wars – Fallen Order” will go on sale October 4.
“Episode IX”, which will feature original heroes Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Billy Dee Williams starring alongside the cast of “The Force Awakens” and “The Last Jedi”, hits theaters Dec. 20
