Some Twitter repartee between the actor best known as Luke Skywalker (or Kenneth W. Dantley Jr. from “Corvette Summer”) and “Guardians of the Galaxy” director James Gunn seems to have led to some work for “Last Jedi” alum Hamill.
Seems Gunn lives right around the corner from Hamill in Malibu, where the duo have now seemingly locked-in a catch-up date to discuss the potential of the “Star Wars” legend joining another sci-fi franchise.
“Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3” is probably gearing up to shoot shortly so it’s purportedly very good timing on Hamill’s part.
