The proposed feature film reboot of “Starship Troopers” – itself based on a Robert A. Heinlein novel – might end up premiering on telly instead of in the theater.
Producer Neal Moritz says the redo is being considered for all mediums right now.
“We’re developing it”, the producer tells HitFix. “We’ve actually been talking about either doing it as a feature or doing it as a television show. So, we’ll see.”
The original “Starship Troopers” flick, directed by Paul Verhoeven, was followed by two-live action sequels.
