Stephen King’s The Boogeyman being adapted for the big screen

“A Quiet Place” writers Scott Beck and Bryan Woods are working with 20th Century Fox to bring the Stephen King short story “The Boogeyman” the to big screen for the first time.

First published in 1973, King’s “Boogeyman” follows a man who recently lost all his children to a creature lurking in the closet.

The short story has been adapted to short films seven times, but has never been put into a full length film.
