Heavyweights Hilary Swank and Tom Wilkinson are teaming up for the courtroom drama “Denial”, says Screen Daily.
A quartet of shingles – Krasnoff/Foster Entertainment, Shoebox Films, Participant Media and BBC Films – are behind the fact-based film, which is based on Deborah E. Lipstadt’s book “History on Trial”.
Mick Jackson, best known for the ’90s fluff-fest “The Bodyguard”, is directing.
Oscar winner Swank will play Lipstadt, who was accused of libel when she allegedly called Nazi apologist David Irving a Holocaust denier.
