Sylvester Stallone will reunite with his “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2” director James Gunn on “The Suicide Squad”.
The director confirmed today on Instagram that he’s recruited ‘Sly’ for a mystery role in the reboot of the DC Comics film series.
“Always love working with my friend @officialslystallone & our work today on #TheSuicideSquad was no exception. Despite Sly being an iconic movie star, most people still don’t have any idea what an amazing actor this guy is.”
“The Suicide Squad” stars Margot Robbie, Jai Courtney, Idris Elba, Joel Kinnaman, Nathan Fillion and Taika Waititi. The film is set to release in theaters August 6, 2021.
