Tarantino doing Django/Zorro movie!

Jamie Foxx’s emancipated bounty hunter Django is returning to the cinemaplex – and this time he’s bringing masked hero Zorro with him!

Quentin Tarantino, writer-director of “Django Unchained”, is set to bring the Dynamite Entertainment comic “Django/Zorro” to the cream screen.

The comic, co-created by Tarantino, writer Matt Wagner and artist Esteve Polls in 2015, sees Django playing bodyguard to Diego de la Vega aka Zorro. When the bounty hunter discovers a whole new strain of slavery, he and his new partner set out on a mission of vengeful justice.

Jerrod Carmichael, best known as the creator and star of NBC’s “The Carmichael Show”, will write the film.

As Collider, who have the scoop point out, Tarantino has said he’ll end his directing career at ten movies – and with “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” his ninth, it’s hard to believe he’ll end his filmmaking run with this. It’s more likely he’ll produce the film.
