Tarantino may make Inglourious Basterds sequel

Quentin Tarantino has more ideas than Hugh Hefner has tubes of KY Jelly on hand, so don’t start lining up for tickets just yet, but the “Django Unchained” director says he’s toying with the idea of making a a black soldier revenge film. Originally, this was to be part of his 2009 flick “Inglourious Basterds”.

“My original idea for Inglourious Basterds way back when was that this [would be] a huge story that included the [smaller] story that you saw in the film, but also followed a bunch of black troops, and they had been f—ed over by the American military and kind of go apeshit,” Tarantino tells The Root. “They basically — the way Lt. Aldo Raines (Brad Pitt) and the Basterds are having an ‘Apache resistance’ — [the] black troops go on an Apache warpath and kill a bunch of white soldiers and white officers on a military base and are just making a warpath to Switzerland.”

Tarantino, whose many abandoned projects include “The Vega Brothers”, “The Man from U.N.C.L.E”, and a third “Kill Bill”, says he still has enough material for the film should he decide to pursue it. If it did happen it would feature the Inglorious Basterds – suggesting Brad Pitt, Eli Roth and co may make appearances – and be called “Killer Crow”.

More chance you’ll see Hef getting down to his last bottle of lube.
