Tarantino’s Trek inches forward

Seems QT is still pretty determined for Paramount to beam his “Star Trek” script aboard the mother f_n enterprise.

Out doing the PR rounds for his highly anticipated not-Manson-biopic “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood”, the former video store clerk tells Empire that his proposed “Trek” film has a script, but he needs to give it a look and, assumingly, give it a punch up.

“There’s a script that exists for it now, I need to weigh in on it, but haven’t been able to do that yet.”

Unlike the other “Trek” films, Tarantino promises his take will be harder than Madonna’s abs.

“Oh yeah! It’s an R-rated movie. If I do it, it’ll be R-rated.”

It’s not known whether Tarantino plans to direct the movie, which is one of two potential “Star Trek” movies Paramount are tinkering with at the moment.
