If you think that “Sharknado 6” could be in the running for an award for jumping the shark – you’d be wrong. The writers have clearly thought of this possibility and hence added a homage to the classic line from 70s shark flick “Jaws” to avoid such risk.
Hey! I can hear you all audibly sighing from here! But by now you all know that a new “Sharknado” film means Katie getting on her soapbox about something in the film.
So the title of the 6th installment also suggests it will wrap up the series, being “The Last Sharknado: It’s About Time”. Yes, yes it is about time. I do feel for Tara Reid’s career, though. She’s going to be lost without a bit of robo-shark action to keep the paychecks coming in. My advice? Schedule another meltdown. Shia has them on the regular and it seems to keep getting him movie gigs.
Anyways, all of my distaste for the franchise aside, check out the first teaser below, and see the film on SYFY August 19. We’re gonna need a bigger soapbox.
