Sony Pictures releasing bellows ‘the plane! the plane’ as the first trailer for Blumhouse’s “Fantasy Island” scoots online today.
In the “Get Out” crowd’s new spin on the classic telly hit, the enigmatic Mr. Roarke makes the secret dreams of his lucky guests come true at a luxurious but remote tropical resort. But when the fantasies turn into nightmares, the guests have to solve the island’s mystery in order to escape with their lives.
“Kick-Ass 2” helmer Jeff Wadlow captained this ship, with Michael Peña, Maggie Q, Lucy Hale, Austin Stowell, Portia Doubleday, Jimmy O. Yang, Ryan Hansen and Michael Rooker filling up the credits block. Wadlow scripted the movie with Chris Roach and Jillian Jacobs.
