Twelve months after its cancellation over at ABC, Tim Allen laffer “Last Man Standing” may have found a new home.
According to Deadline, 20th Century Fox TV is in talks with Fox Broadcasting Co. for a new – seventh – season of the series. Allen has already closed a deal to return, with the original cast and crew expected to join him on the revival.
Fox had looked at rescuing the show last May, upon its cancellation, but talks didn’t pan out. CMT had also spoken to the producers about a possible run on the network, but that too didn’t amount to anything other than a yak and coffee.
Allen has been hinting on Twitter for the past couple of days that the show may have been rescued :
