A new trailer for Director Mary Harron’s “Charlie Says”, has been released ahead of the May 10 theatrical and May 14 digital release.

Years after the shocking murders that made the name Charles Manson synonymous with pure evil, the three women who killed for him—Leslie Van Houten (Hannah Murray), Patricia Krenwinkel (Sosie Bacon), and Susan Atkins (Marianne Rendón)—remain under the spell of the infamous cult leader (Matt Smith). Confined to an isolated cellblock in a California penitentiary, the trio seem destined to live out the rest of their lives under the delusion that their crimes were part of a cosmic plan—until empathetic graduate student Karlene Faith (Merritt Wever) is enlisted to rehabilitate them. Convinced the prisoners are not the inhuman monsters the world believes them to be, Karlene begins the arduous process of breaking down the psychological barriers erected by Manson. But are the women ready to confront the horror of what they did? Boundary pushing auteur Mary Harron (American Psycho, I Shot Andy Warhol) presents a provocative new perspective on one of the most notorious crimes of the 20th century.

IFC Films releases “Charlie Says” starring Suki Waterhouse, Hannah Murray, Matt Smith, Sosie Bacon, Marianne Rendón, and Chace Crawford.

Bong Joon Ho brings his singular mastery home to Korea in this pitch-black modern fairytale.

Meet the Park Family: the picture of aspirational wealth. And the Kim Family, rich in street smarts but not much else. Be it chance or fate, these two houses are brought together and the Kims sense a golden opportunity. Masterminded by college-aged Ki-woo, the Kim children expediently install themselves as tutor and art therapist, to the Parks. Soon, a symbiotic relationship forms between the two families. The Kims provide “indispensable” luxury services while the Parks obliviously bankroll their entire household. When a parasitic interloper threatens the Kims’ newfound comfort, a savage, underhanded battle for dominance breaks out, threatening to destroy the fragile ecosystem between the Kims and the Parks.

By turns darkly hilarious and heart-wrenching, “Parasite” showcases a modern master at the top of his game.

Universal has released the new trailer for Christmastime offering “Last Christmas”, the new rom-com from “Bridesmaids” (and, dare we mention it, “Ghostbusters”) director Paul Feig. The film features “Game of Thrones” alum Emilia Clarke and Henry Golding (“A Simple Favor”).

Clarke plays a young woman, who has been continuously unlucky, that accepts a job as a department store elf during the holidays. When her Kate meets Golding’s Tom on the job, her life takes a turn.

Apparently the film will feature not only George Michael’s – man, he’s missed – classic song of the same name but some unreleased music of the late musician, too.

Emma Thompson also stars in the film, opening – surprisingly not at Christmas but – November 8.
