Starring Academy Award winner Joaquin Phoenix, Gaby Hoffman and Woody Norman, Mike Mills “C’Mon C’Mon”, is said to be “a deeply moving meditation on the connections between adults and children and the importance of family.”
The film, which screened at Venice and will next screen at the New York Film Festival, tells of Johnny (Joaquin Phoenix) and his young nephew (Woody Norman) who “forge a tenuous but transformational relationship when they are unexpectedly thrown together”.
Mills scripted and directed the film, which opens in theaters in November via A24.
