Trailer for Eric Bana’s latest Deadfall

The first trailer and poster for “Deadfall” (that was the name of an old Michael Biehn movie from memory) starring Eric Bana, Olivia Wilde and Charlie Hunnam has been regurgitated, dripping in full-solid form across the web.

The movie, which also features one of my favourite actors Treat Williams (time for that “Everwood” reunion already!), tells of “siblings Addison and Liza [who] are on the run from a casino heist gone wrong. When a car accident leaves their wheel man and a state trooper dead, they split up and make a run for the Canadian border in the worst of circumstances a near whiteout blizzard. While Addison heads cross-country, creating mayhem in his wake, Liza is picked up by ex-boxer Jay (Charlie Hunnam), en-route for a Thanksgiving homecoming with his parents, June (Sissy Spacek) and retired sheriff Chet (Kris Kristofferson). It’s there the siblings are reunited in a terse and thrilling showdown that pushes the bonds of family to the limit.”

Film is released by Magnolia, who enjoy premiering their films on video-on-demand a couple of weeks prior to putting it in cinemas, so chances are most of you will be watching this on small screen.
