The latest trailer and poster for long-awaited remake “RoboCop” has hit the Internet, and we have it for your courtesy of Collider.
A modern retake on Paul Verhoeven’s classic, the new “RoboCop” takes place in 2028 and sees the disreputable OminiCorp using its drone technology to turn blown-apart cop Alex Murphy (Joel Kinnaman) into a cyborg police officer. Although the experiment is meant to be the first in a series of RoboCops to be developed and placed throughout the country, things (obviously) don’t go as planned.
The film also stars Gary Oldman, Michael Keaton, Abbie Cornish, Jackie Earle Haley, Michael K Williams, Jennifer Egle, Jary Baruchel, Marianne Jean-Baptiste and Samuel L Jackson.
“RopoCop” will bust into cinemas on February 12, 2014.
