Beloved children’s horror series “The Banana Splits” gets the ‘horror’ (!?) treatment, courtesy SyFy and “Black Field” director Danishka Esterhazy.
Due to hit Blu-ray and DVD in the summer, before airing on SyFy, the twisted take on the family brand sees a family of four going to a taping of ‘The Banana Splits’ – starring Fleegle, Bingo, Drooper and Snorky – only to discover the players are now blood-thirsty, vengeful monsters.
