Trailers : NYC Epicenters: 9/11 → 2021 ½, Scenes from a Marriage, Afterlife of the Party

HBO have released a trailer for the upcoming four-part docuseries “NYC Epicenters: 9/11➔2021½”. Director Spike Lee captures the city’s history and evolution in the 20 years since 9/11 with interviews from the citizens who lived it.

Interviewees include Jon Stewart, Rosie Perez, Jeffrey Wright, John Turturro; politicians Chuck Schumer, Bill De Blasio, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ron Kim, Mondaire Jones, Stacey Plaskett, Ritchie Torres, Muriel Bowser; medical professionals Dr. Anthony Fauci, Dr. Ian Lipkin, Dr. Fritz Francois; NYFD members; machine operators from Ground Zero; engineers and architects; news anchors and reporters.

Premieres August 22 on HBO Max.

Also on HBO is “Scenes from a Marriage” – an upcoming limited series adaptation of Ingmar Bergman’s 1973 Swedish classic. Starring Oscar Isaac and Jessica Chastain, Scenes from a Marriage re-examines the show’s iconic depiction of love, hatred, desire, monogamy, marriage, and divorce through the lens of a contemporary American couple.
