The oft-rumored “Rush Hour 4” is offically on, star Chris Tycker tells ESPN’s podcast The Plug, saying he’s a lock – as is Jackie Chan – to do the third sequel to the ’90s action-comedy.
“It’s happening,” Tucker said. “This is gonna be the rush of all rushes. Jackie is ready and we want to do this so that people don’t ever forget it.”
With “Rush Hour” series director Brett Ratner currently facing sexual harassment allegations, no surprise that Tucker didn’t speak of his involvement.
Chan and Tucker had been considering a new “Rush Hour” for several years but haven’t been able to settle on a storyline.
