Emmy-nominated actor Hugh Dancy (”Hannibal”) will guest star in a multi-episode arc on the award-winning drama series “Homeland”, starring Emmy and Golden Globe winner Claire Danes and Emmy and Tony winner Mandy Patinkin. Dancy will recur as John Zabel, a savvy Washington consultant who joins the White House as a new foreign-policy advisor to the President and a formidable opponent to Saul Berenson (Patinkin). The acclaimed series is currently in production on its eighth and final season and will premiere later this year.

Acclaimed filmmaker and sometime actor Werner Herzog revealed a little about his role in upcoming live-action “Star Wars” series “The Mandalorian” this week. “Now this is not a secret anymore, a small part, real small part, in ‘The Mandalorian,’ the ‘Star Wars’ sequel or whatever you call it. I like to do it because I know I’m good on screen, but only if I have to play a real villain.” [More…]
Maisie Williams teases a lot of death on the eighth and final season of “Game of Thrones”. “There’s a lot of death this year,” the actress, who stars as Arya Stark in the series, recently told Entertainment Weekly.  “After reading the scripts I went back and watched season 1 again because so much of it refers back to that season. There are so many scenes that will look similar. And also I watched just to remind myself of the arc I’ve taken already. I wanted Arya to go full circle and try for some kind of normalcy like when she was younger,” she told the publication.

If today’s pilot premiere at Comic-Con is anything to go by, the newly-resurrected “Veronica Mars” is here to stay for some time. But just how long?

According to headline act Kristen Bell, she’s happy to play the character until Veronica is old and grey.

“I’ll play Veronica until everyone in Neptune is dead,” she said.

“Yeah, but I’m afraid I will be dead [before that happens],” added creator Rob Thomas, who is unquestionably game to do more

All 8 episodes of the show’s fourth season are now available to stream on Hulu.

Netflix premiered the trailer for upcoming series “The Witcher” during an official Hall H presentation at Comic-Con today.

The “Man of Steel” star plays Geralt of Rivia, monster hunter in a series based on the fantasy novels of the same name.

“I’m a big gamer. I’ve played the games a lot,” Cavill said of the appeal for him. “There was something about Gerald that struck a chord with me. He’s not your average hero. He’s a hard exterior, real-world type person and at the same time, deep down, he’s a real hero.”
