The 21st season of “South Park” is upcoming, but Comedy Central have delayed its premiere date by a few weeks, setting it to air on September 13th. Originally set for August 23rd, the network commented: “We decided to push the upcoming seasons of South Park and Broad City into September when schools are back in session”.
Creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone have also commented previously that the show will lay off the Donald Trump jokes this season, and also get it back to basics – making episodes more one-offs like in previous seasons. Perhaps that means more fart jokes, for those that are fans of toilet humour, in lieu of the heavy political commentary the show has had in recent times.
Season 2 of “The Girlfriend Experience” has been given a premiere date, with Starz setting it for November 5th. The second season will follow two parallel stories with new characters, relationships, plotlines and locations, Deadline commented. The first storyline stars Anna Friel and Louisa Krause in Washington, DC, while the second storyline centres Carmen Ejogo in New Mexico.
“The Girlfriend Experience” is a take on the 2009 movie by Steven Soderbergh, and explores the relationships between exclusive escorts and their clients. Check out some newly released images below of the 2nd helping of “The Girlfriend Experience”.
Jason Bateman has given fans of “Arrested Development” a tease of the 5th season, tweeting about its imminent production date. Bateman previously stated to Deadline that they’d begin production in August, and has now commented on Twitter that they’re set to begin on the 8th.

The 5th coming is said to be the second act of a three-act story that began with the first lot of Netflix episodes. Bateman further noted “There’s no plan yet to do a third act, but if this season is embraced that is definitely a possibility. One of the major stories is the death of Liza Minnelli’s character and who did it. It’s not a murder mystery per se, but that’s one of the central threads.”
The premiere date “Gotham” season 4 has been moved up a week to September 21. The show will witness the emergence of the criminal landscape, with Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) and Harvey Bullock (Donal Logue) at the forefront of the fight against the most depraved and unhinged villains. While Gotham City fights for normalcy, a new hero will rise, as Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) begins to assume responsibility for the city’s well-being (via Deadline).
Professor Pyg will be introduced into the 4th season, and Crystal Reed has also joined the cast to play the daughter of Don & Sofia Falcone.

“Transparent” is returning to Amazon for a fourth season, and the latest trailer has been revealed. The show premieres on September 22, in the meantime check out the season’s synopsis and trailer below.
The Pfeffermans take off on a spiritual and political journey as they dig deep into their family’s history. Maura heads to Israel to speak at a conference and makes a startling discovery. Before long the rest of the family joins her for an explosive adventure. Adrift in the desert, each member of the family ultimately set off on their own paths to find acceptance, love, and truth.
“Mozart in the Jungle” is heading towards its 4th season, and Michael Emerson has been case in a recurring role. According to Deadline, Emerson will play Morton Norton (how’s that for a name), who is a collector of classical musical ephemera and prefers the past to the present. He spends his days sailing solo in a gothic mansion surrounded by classical music relics, dressed up as a homicidal composer named Gesualdo.
Certainly sounds intriguing. The show is based on the acclaimed memoir by Blair Tindall – “Mozart in the Jungle: Sex, Drugs & Classical Music”, and explores the wild world of classical music. The show also stars Bernal and Lola Kirke, Saffron Burrows, Malcolm McDowell, Bernadette Peters and Hannah Dunne.
