John Cena is teaming with Jason Bateman for a new Netflix action-comedy, which Bateman will also direct.
Based on a script by “Game Night” writer Mark Perez, the film centers on a family that gets stuck in an old abandoned movie studio. The sets come to life and the family members find themselves stuck in various movies.
Cena, fresh off Paramount’s “Bumblebee”, will play the lead.
Bateman is back on the futon with Netflix on the film, following his successful collaboration with the streamer on the acclaimed series “Ozark”.
