Helen Hunt has offered up a promising update on the recently announced “Mad About You” reboot, confirming that “it’s looking interesting”.
The 54-year-old actress tells Entertainment Tonight that she and Paul Reiser, who played Paul and Jamie Buchman on the sitcom (1992 to 1999), spoke as recently as Monday about the revival.
While they’re both concerned a revival could be “wrecking” what’s come before it, the actress seems optimistic and encouraged by the idea.
“It does seem compelling to visit these characters 20 years into a marriage after raising an entire human being,” she said. “So depending on some pieces falling into place, it could happen.”
Meanwhile, Robert Downey Jr’s “Doctor Dolittle” reboot is inching forward with Downey announcing the cast of his “The Voyage of Doctor Dolittle” on the socials this week.
In addition to previously announced co-stars Emma Thompson and Tom Holland, the “Iron Man” star confirmed that John Cena, Selena Gomez, Ralph Fiennes, Octavia Spencer, Marion Cotillard and more are aboard the film.
The film is still without a release date but considering the announcement expect that to be the next reveal.
