Updates : Zombieland 2; Dune

“Zombieland 2” is finally on the move, with Emma Stone, Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, and Abigail Breslin reunited for the sequel to the 2009 flick. The ever-so-popular “10 year challenge” on social media has given the film a platform to release the poster to “Zombieland 2”, and it’s very cleverly done: take a look below!

The poster also reveals a nice nugget of information – the full title to the film – “Zombieland: Double Tap”. Alongside the returning cast, Ruben Fleischer will be back on board to direct. The sequel focuses on the comic mayhem that stretches from the White House and through the heartland. The zombie slayers must face off against the many new kinds of zombies that have evolved since the first movie, as well as some new human survivors. Most of all, they have to face the growing pains of their own snarky, makeshift family.

New cast members include Zoey Deutch, and Deadline have also announced Rosario Dawson as the newest addition to the film. “Zombieland: Double Tap” will hit cinemas October 11.

In the realm of casting updates, Oscar Isaac is the latest addition to the upcoming remake of “Dune”. He will join Timothee Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Stellan Skarsgard, and Charlotte Rampling. The “Star Wars” actor will play the father of Chalamet’s character in the movie. “Arrival” and “Blade Runner 2049” filmmaker Denis Villeneuve is directing and is co-writing the script with Eric Roth and Jon Spaihts.

Set in the distant future, “Dune” follows Paul Atreides, whose family assumes control of the desert planet Arrakis. As the only producer of a highly valuable resource, jurisdiction over Arrakis is contested among competing noble families. After Paul and his family are betrayed, the story explores themes of politics, religion, and man’s relationship with nature, as Paul leads a rebellion to restore his family’s reign.

Not only will Isaac appear in the new “Star Wars” film later this year, he’s also set for the animated “Addams Family” film at Sony, and Netflix’s “Triple Frontier” alongside Ben Affleck.
