ANNA FARIS has joined the cast of the new Jon Heder/Diane Keaton comedy, “Mama’s Boy”.

MICHAEL PENA, of “Crash” fame, has joined Mark Wahlberg for the political thriller “Shooter”.

DANNY DEVITO, DYLAN WALSH and JUSTIN LONG will star in Hart Bochner’s “One Part Sugar”, about a man who stays in his hometown in the hope that the girl of his dreams finally notices him.

THE FARRELLY BROTHERS will direct a remake of the French comedy “The Valet”, which Allen Loeb will write for Dreamworks.

According to a report on Batman-on-film.com, one of the rumoured top contenders for the role of The Joker in the next “Batman” movie – may have pulled out. HULME? BETTANY? JOEY TRAVOLTA?

JAMES DENTON and CHRIS KATTAN have signed to star in “Wanted : Dead or Alive”, about two cowboys (Denton and Kattan) and an Indian girl who try to outrun a sheriff and his posse of zombies intent on catching the trio.

According to various reports, LINDSAY LOHAN may now be the frontrunner to play Lucy Ewing in the film version of 80s TV fave “Dallas”.

CHRISTOPHER SHOWERMAN, of “George of the Jungle 2”, is in talks for a role in “Licence to Wed”, a new comedy starring ROBIN WILLIAMS and MANDY MOORE.

SAMANTHA MAHURIN has joined the cast of Chris Nolan’s “The Prestige”. She will play the role of Hugh Jackman’s daughter in the film.

PRISCILLA PRESLEY is apparently working with “Sex and the City” creator Darren Star on a remake of the Peter Sellers classic, “The Party”, says Contact Music.

Despite the rumours, WALTER HILL will not be directing the upcoming “Rambo 4” starring Sylvester Stallone.

Aint it Cool News has received a cover image for the “Death Proof” part of Quentin Tarantino’s “Grind House” script, which confirms the casting of MICKEY ROURKE and ZOE BELL, as the leads.
