Caffeinated Clint
Earlier today the Burbankian brass for The CW announced that Rob Thomas had been given the go-ahead to develop a “Veronica Mars” spin-off for the network’s online-vid service, SEED. Though the series – which SEED is expected to air six to eight 10-minute segments of – is expected to feature appearances from some of the familiar cast on the defunct-series turned movie (due out in March), the concept and star of the thing hadn’t been decided upon.
What a difference a few hours can make.
Thomas just took to Twitter to announce the star and storyline of the new monitor-sized “Mars” spin-off :
