A petition is circling the web that will hopefull entice producers to have Casper Van Dien back as Johnny Rico in "Starship Troopers 2", which Tippett studios recently confirmed they’d be making shortly. Judging by the response to the petition – there’s a huge demand to have Casper back on board.
The petition states :
We have learned that there will be a sequel to the 1997 SciFi movie "Starship Troopers". Apparently, the producers want to produce this sequel straight to the video market, and they have not hired the 1997 original cast to help make the movie a success.
We are fans of Casper Van Dien who played Johnny Rico in the original movie and would like to see him again in this role on the big screen. Please support us to reach this goal!
