Warner Bros doing The Fugitive again

Hot on the heels of Quibi’s new small screen remake – albeit a loose one – starring Boyd Holbrook and Kiefer Sutherland, Deadline has it that Warner Bros and Director Albert Hughes are looking to bring “The Fugitive” back to the big screen too.

Brian Tucker’s script reportedly retells the classic Richard Kimble and Sam Gerard story, previously told in the ‘60s TV series of the same name and the Andrew Davis-directed feature out of 1993.

Though best known for his work with brother Albert on such films as “The Book of Eli” and “Dead Presidents”, Hughes previously helmed “Alpha”.

Erik Feig (“I Know What You Did Last Summer” and it’s sequel, “Step Up 3D”) produces.
