Watch a TV spot for Labor Day – the movie, not the holiday

Really looking forward to this one.

A crook falls for a common housewife (yep, so it’s “Underbelly” with a SAG card) in Jason Reitman’s “Labor Day”. Josh Brolin and Kate Winslet already have noms in the bag – no, they do, apparently the studio insisted on it before even the ‘record’ button had been pressed on the cameras. Bums are already on seats (true as well; though they’re there in the cinema watching “The Hobbit”). “Labor Day” comes around January 31.

Yahoo! Movies
has debuted a new TV spot for the movie.

LABOR DAY centers on 13-year-old Henry Wheeler, who struggles to be the man of his house and care for his reclusive mother Adele while confronting all the pangs of adolescence. On a back-to-school shopping trip, Henry and his mother encounter Frank Chambers, a man both intimidating and clearly in need of help, who convinces them to take him into their home and later is revealed to be an escaped convict. The events of this long Labor Day weekend will shape them for the rest of their lives.
