Wayne returns to TV… but where’s Garth?

Mike Myers is headed back to the box – and with Netflix his new home, the rewards should be loftier than what he and his stringy-haired buddy were getting over at Community Access Television.

Ah, shit, Okay, so it’s not “Wayne’s World 3” (surely that’s on the way, right? You can’t just tease us with appearances of the duo at all these awards ceremonies and then yank the possibility of a new movie away from us!), and it won’t co-star Dana Carvey (but what’s the bet he makes an appearance!), but we can celebrate the return of “Saturday Night Live alum to the small screen. It’s a start. Means he’s hungry to work, and make us giggle-fart again.

Netflix has ordered a half-hour limited comedy series produced by and starring Myers, in which he plays multiple characters.

“I love creating characters, and Netflix has given me a fantastic playground to play in”, the actor, who has given us such memorable characters as Austin Powers and The Love Guru (heh), said.

Though details are being kept under wraps, seems the show has been granted a 6-episode order.
