Caffeinated Clint
Former “Weeds” star Romany Malco has snagged the lead role in Kevin Hart’s semi-autobiographical comedy series “Keep it Together”.
Housed at ABC, the sitcom is based on “Ride Along” star Hart’s life and stand-up career.
Says Deadline, “Keep It Together takes a candid look at the post-divorce life of a couple, Derek (Malco) and Lorraine, trying to forge a friendship for the sake of their kids, despite differences. Derek is a fit and energetic exercise equipment salesman.”
Hart, busy doing film after film these days, would play a recurring role on the show, schedule permitting.
Malco and Hart have worked together before, appearing in the likes of “The 40 Year-Old Virgin” and “Think Like a Man” together.
