Grain of salt until The CW sends out a presser confirming it but according to one new report Burt Ward, Tom Welling and Lynda Carter will all reprise their small-screen alter-egos – of Robin, Clark Kent & Wonder Woman – for December’s Arrowverse crossover “Crisis on Infinite Earths”.
Says Cosmic Book News :
Tom Welling will be back from Smallville, as that is another Earth…. Lynda Carter will be back as Wonder Woman, as that too is another Earth.
….Burt Ward is playing the Robin from the ’66 Batman series, as that is an alternate Earth as well, which will see Ward as Robin while that Batman’s Earth is dead.
While Ward has been confirmed by official sources, his character has not been revealed; what is out there is that Brandon Routh will play the ‘Kingdom Come’ version of Superman in the December offering.
The same site reports that footage from some of the DCEU movies – including “Man of Steel”, featuring Henry Cavill as Superman – might also be incorporated into the TV event.
