Vulture says one of Sony’s producer extraordinaires Neal Moritz has already asked script-writers Ashley Edward Miller and Zack Stentz to work on a new version of the Paul Verhoeven classic.
Ashley Edward Miller and Zack Stentz have penned scripts for “X-Men: First Class” and “Thor”, and are working on the rumoured “Top Gun” sequel – so it could be a grittier, less satirical re-make.
