No, Warner Bros has nabbed the rights to adapt cult board game “Monsterpocalypse” into a movie, with Fede Alvarez attached to co-write and direct.
According to THR, Warner Bros outbid other interested studios, including DreamWorks and Sony, and is now in negotiations for the package.
Created by Matt Wilson, “Monsterpocalypse” is a board game from Privateer Press which pits humans in robot suits against monsters.
Alvarez will pen the script with Rodo Sayagues.
