Will Charlie Cox’s Daredevil crossover into Marvel movies?

Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige is out promoting the “Avengers : Age of Ultron” BD and DVD this week, and aside from talking up Joss Whedon’s splashy but mediocre sequel he gave an extensive update on some of the upcoming projects housed at the studio – namely those under Marvel’s Phase 3 banner.

In addition to suggesting the current “Captain America” series will wrap after the third film, and the possibility of an “Avengers” and “Guardians of the Galaxy” crossover in the future, Feige says there’s potential for some of the small screen superheroes (he mentions ‘Daredevil’, so clearly he fancies the idea of Charlie Cox reprising the role on the big screen at some stage) crossing over into some of Marvel’s movies.

“I think that’s inevitable at some point as we’re plotting the movies going forward and they’re doing the shows. It’s easier for them. They’re more nimble and faster and produce things quicker than we do, which is one of the main reasons you see the repercussions of Winter Soldier and Age of Ultron in the show.

Going forward and certainly as they begin to do more shows and cast them with such great actors as they have – particularly Daredevil – that that may occur. A lot of it is by the time we start doing a movie, they’d be midway through a season; by the time it comes out they’d be done with the second, starting the third season. Finding timing on that is not always easy.”
