George Lucas stays mostly mum
Is Karen Allen involved in the next “Indiana Jones” movie?
George Lucas’s silent stance on the matter suggests it’s a possibility.
The actress may – she’s been linked to the new film for years, actually – be back as Marion Ravenwood, the feisty character she played in “Raiders of the Lost Ark”.
“I can’t say,” Lucas said when FOXNEWS brought up Allen.
No doubt someone will soon discover the truth.
“Steven [Spielberg] thinks we can keep the whole thing a secret,” Lucas said. “I explained to him that it’s impossible nowadays. We can’t live like that.”
It’s likely that Marion Ravenwood would be either seen, or at least referenced, in the new movie. After all, didn’t she and Indy bump uglies in the first one? And doesn’t Indy now have a son (played by Shia LaBeouf) in the new chapter?
