Woody Harrelson reunites with Oren Moverman for Hands

Sony

Woody Harrelson, next in Sony’s “Venom : Let There Be Carnage”, will star in writer/irector Oren Moverma’s feature film adaptation of Joseph Kessel’s novel “The Man With the Miraculous Hands: The Fantastic Story of Felix Kersten, Himmler’s Private Doctor.”

According to Variety, the World War II psychological thriller tells of Felix Kersten (Harrelson), a Finnish-born medical professional who was reluctantly pulled into the Third Reich’s corridors of power as Heinrich Himmler’s personal physician and prisoner.

The film marks the third collaboration between Moverman and Harrelson, following “Rampart” and “The Messenger”.

“Hands” is being produced by Jerico Films, a division of Vendome Group, the banner behind the Sundance prize-winning movie “Coda.”
