Would JJ really resurrect this character for Episode IX?

Haven’t we been here before?

Or yes, we have.

So, let’s not spend too much time paddling in this river again, okay? It’ll likely chalk up to a Chinese whisper that’s been erroneously deciphered by a blabbering gungan .

Never the less, a new rumor has hit suggesting Harrison Ford’s late swashbuckling Falcon captain has a role in the upcoming “Star Wars Episode IX”.

We all know what happened to Han Solo in “The Force Awakens”, right?

If there’s something to all this, and Ford does indeed end up in the movie, one can’t imagine he’ll hobble out as Solo, survivor of the slice and fall manoeuvre, but instead features in one of those flashback scenes with Leia (the late Carrie Fisher).

Director JJ Abrams is said to have quite a few unused scenes from “The Force Awakens” that he’s using for the new film, so he can give Leia a proper send-off, so it is possible that Ford’s Solo does feature in a moment or two that he’s recovered.

It would be incredible if Abrams inserts a scene into the film that also serves as a flashback featuring Luke (Mark Hamill) and Solo, but that’s probably wishful thinking… like this rumor in general.
