Fox are remaking the popular British series “Luther”, with original series creator Neil Cross on writing duties.
The original UK series starred Idris Elba as a police detective on the hunt for brutal serial killers. Though the “Pacific Rim” actor is not expected to reprise his role for the redo, he will be an executive producer.
The British “Luther” ran for three seasons; though Cross has ruled out a fourth season, he has suggested a film adaptation could be in the works.
