Nic Pizzolatto (“True Detective”) has cast Vince Vaughn, Al Pacino, Michelle Monaghan and Simon Rex in his Vegas-set indie drama Easy’s Waltz.
Likened to a mix of Swingers and A Star is Born, the Pizzolatto-penned script fixes on “a down-on-his-luck comedian-crooner navigating modern Las Vegas with old-school Vegas personalities”, says Deadline.
The film sees Vaughn return to Vegas, the city he indirectly made his mark in via the indie smash Swingers back in the late ’90s.
