Another recently-axed Fox series “Lucifer” lives to see another day!
Following a huge social media campaign by fans, Netflix have decided to play savior and pick-up the Warner Bros. TV series after it was cancelled at Fox last month. Fans have been fervently petitioning for the show to be saved with the hashtag #SaveLucifer since the cancellation was announced. Apparently it was a complicated feat to pull off, because Hulu controlled the SVOD rights to the series.
Netflix had previously picked up another cancelled WBTV series, “Longmire”. Last month, NBC picked up “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” after FOX canned it.
