Brendan Fraser to take on Batgirl

Continuing that killer comeback of his, Brendan Fraser is set to play a villain in Warner’s “Batgirl” film.

Leslie Grace plays the title character in the film, alongside J.K Simmons’ Commissioner Gordon and, per the rumour mill, Michael Keaton’s Batman.

Different sources say Fraser, who has made a sizeable return charge in recent years thanks to stellar turns in “No Sudden Move” and “”, will play Carmine Falcone or Firefly.

Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah are helming the film, being produced for Warner’s HBO Max streaming platform.
