“Hannibal” alum Bryan Fuller will make his feature directorial debut on a remake of Stephen King classic “Christine”.

Sony Pictures and Blumhouse are producing the film, based on King’s classic novel about a young man who restores an old car and names her Christine, but he is unaware that she has an evil presence within her. When anyone tries to come between her owner and her, they are not spared.

TV Wunderkind Fuller (“Star Trek : Discovery”, “Heroes”, “American Gods”) intends to keep the film in the ’80s, as per King’s best-seller and the 1983 film by John Carpenter.
