Per Deadline, Channing Tatum is eyeing a role in Quentin Tarantino’s “The Hateful Eight”.
Tatum, currently promoting big Awards contender “Foxcatcher”, would join a cast that includes Samuel L Jackson, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Michael Madsen, Bruce Dern, Kurt Russell, Tim Roth and Walton Goggins.
The film, which Tarantino originally shelved because of a script leak, follows two bounty hunters, a tough female prisoner and a local sheriff as they wait for a storm to pass with four men who may or may not be attempting to free the prisoner.
The western begins filming in January.
