In light of recent events, CBS has fired Chris Noth from “The Equalizer”.

The actor, who also recently reprised his ‘Mr Big’ role on HBO Max’s “Sex and the City” follow-up “And Just Like That”, is facing allegations of sexual assault.

“Chris Noth will no longer film additional episodes of The Equalizer, effective immediately,” CBS and Universal Television, producers of the action series, said.

The year-old actor appears in just one more episode.

The Hollywood Reporter recently ran a story detailing allegations of sexual assault against the veteran actor : one woman says she was sexually assaulted by the “Sex and the City” actor in 2004, and another says she was sexually assaulted at her apartment in 2005. Noth denies the allegations.
