Clint Eastwood, 92, has cast Nicholas Hoult (Renfield) and Toni Collette (Hereditary) in his swansong, Juror No 2.
The thriller, per Deadline, is set during a murder trial where one of the jurors slowly realizes he killed the victim in a reckless-driving accident and tries to save the defendant without incriminating himself, looks to be housed at Warner Bros (though the deal isn’t done yet).
A production start of mid-June is being eyed, which will make Eastwood – whose last flick Cry Macho was released in 2021 – 93 years old when cameras begin to roll. Sources say the Dirty Harry actor wanted to ride off into the sunset with a well-received film having not garnered good notices for his last pic.
Jonathan Abrams penned the script. Adam Goodman, Matt Skiena, Tim Moore and Jessica Meier will produce.
