Deborah Ann Woll and Elden Henson won’t be back to reprise their roles as Karen Page and Froggy Nelson on Disney+’s newly-resurrect “Daredevil” follow-up. While the trade has confirmed that Frank Bernthal, who played The Punisher/Frank Castle on the original Netflix series, is back.
The Hollywood Reporter has the news on Woll and Henson adding that it “is also unclear whether those characters will be recast or excised from the story.”
”Daredevil : Born Again” will bring back “Daredevil” stars Charlie Cox (Matt Murdock) and Vincent D’Onofrio (Kingpin) who’ll be joined by newcomers Michael Gandolfini, Margarita Levieva, Sandrine Holt and Nikki M. James. Writers and executive producers Matt Corman and Chris Ord are behind the 18-episodes of the new season, which is expected to bow in the spring of 2024.
